Beachy Head & Seven Sisters /2

View of the Seven Sisters from Beachy Head near Birling Gap, looking back towards the River Cuckmere and Seaford Head in the background. From west to east, the sequence starts just east of Cuckmere Haven. There are eight hills, not seven as one might expect; the 'sisters' are not metaphorical references to the hills but a literal reference to seven sisters who apparently each had a house between the hills.

About me

Today I focus on environmental, conservation, landscape and documentary photography. I strongly believe that photography can be a mirror helping us understand the beauty around us and the need to protect it. I’m open for assignments.

Cheers,
Erik
